THE CALL FOR PAPERS [https://wbc2027.org/call-for-papers/] is for those persons who are want to be considered for an oral presentation at the WBC.
The World Bamboo Organization [https://www.worldbamboo.net] invites scientific papers for oral presentation at the 13th World Bamboo Congress, 7–11 June, 2027 in Rotterdam.
Papers are welcomed from researchers in all fields of bamboo: ecologists, forest managers, processors, cultivators, food and nutrition experts, manufacturers, engineers, architects, designers and policymakers working anywhere along the bamboo value chain. Wherever you work with bamboo, from the field and the lab to the kitchen and the building site, there is a place for you at the WBC 2027.

From 7 to 11 June 2027, Theater Zuidplein in Rotterdam brings together 475+ delegates and 55+ speakers from more than 30 countries across five full days, researchers, growers, foresters, food and nutrition experts, manufacturers, engineers, architects, designers and policymakers, in one building.
As a Sponsor, there are three ways to be part of it.
🔸 A package, from Bronze to Diamond > each one a designed combination of branding, visibility and networking, so organizations of every size can take part.
🔸A theme > one or more of the three congress themes, or one of eight impact areas, from social and networking to Rotterdam visibility to event operations and delivery.
🔸Or something built with you > Not every partnership fits a package: a solidarity sponsorship, the congress dinner, student scholarships, translators, the exhibition lounge, the aftermovie. Tell us what matters to your organization and we will shape it around your goals, values and audience.

There is also the European Bamboo Expo 2027, which runs alongside the congress all week in the entrance hall between the two session halls > the space every delegate crosses between sessions. And if you are a Dutch SME: the congress is recognized by the RVO as a Green Trade Fair, so the SIB subsidy can cover up to 80% of your costs, to a maximum of EUR 2,500.
