We would like to remind you that the deadline for pre-registration for
the *the 12^th edition of the International Conference “Wood Science and
Engineering in the Third Millennium” – ICWSE 2019,* is February 15,
2019. You are warmly invited to submit your intention to participate to
this upcoming event.
The conference is organized by the /Transilvania /University - Faculty
of Wood Engineering, in *Brasov, Romania,* between *07 – 09 November 2019.*

30 September Online display of final conference program
All submitted manuscripts will be peer-reviewed. The papers which are
not accepted for oral presentation will be included in the poster
session. All contributions (papers and posters) will be included as
full-text articles in the Conference proceedings (printed and in
electronic format on USB stick). A selection of papers accepted for oral
presentation will be published on-line in a special edition of PRO LIGNO
- scientific journal in the field of wood engineering, indexed by CABI,
EBSCO and DOAJ (http://www.proligno.ro/en).
As in previous editions, we will try to keep the conference fee as low
as 250 euro, which includes the conference kit, admittance to all
sessions, lunches, coffee breaks, welcome cocktail and banquet.

We would like to remind you that the deadline for abstract submission for the 21st NDTE symposium will end soon on February 15, 2019. You are warmly invited to submit your abstract for this upcoming event. The 21th International Nondestructive Testing and Evaluation of Wood Symposium will be held in Freiburg im Breisgau, Germany, September 25-27, 2019. The symposium is a forum for those involved in non-destructive testing and evaluation of wood, wood-based products, and structures.
Objectives of the conference:
The objectives of this symposium are to provide the international nondestructive testing and evaluation of wood research community a venue to present results from their latest research and technology transfer activities and make them available to scientists and engineers from around the world. Networking among participants will foster new collaborative efforts, with an emphasis on implementation of non-destructive testing technologies around the globe.

- Nondestructive characterization of wood and wood-based materials
- Evaluation of forest materials for optimal utilization
- Advanced grading technologies for solid wood and engineered wood products
- Condition assessment, evaluation, and repair of existing wood structures

- Industrial application of emerging nondestructive testing technologies
