Dear Madam or Sir,
many thanks to those of you, who have already submitted an abstract for the The Fifth
European Conference on Wood Modification ECWM5, which will take place on 20 & 21
September 2010 in Riga, Latvia.
Assuming that you would like to participate in the Conference, but you have not yet
received the relative information from us, we found it possible to extend the abstract
submission deadline by 5 March, 2010.
Focusing on the theme Wood modification and related aspects, this Conference is a great
opportunity to meet and exchange experience with other scientists, representatives of
industry and research organisations. This Conference also offers a chance to develop new
and innovative partnerships.
The Conference participation fee is €400 per delegate. For students - €250 per delegate (a
copy of the document certifying the student’s status of a participant should be enclosed).
The fee includes the Welcome party (19.09.2010), lunches, coffee-breaks, Conference dinner
and Conference Proceedings. For accompanying persons - €80 per person. The price includes
the Welcome party and Conference dinner.
We would be very grateful if you could disseminate the information among your members and
relevant partners, and include this event in the relevant section of your website.
