We are pleased to announce that registration and call for abstracts are open for the 16th IUFRO Christmas Tree Research and Extension Conference (CTRE). The conference will be held August 11-16 in Kerteminde, Denmark and is hosted by the University of Copenhagen. The program will include oral and poster presentations and field excursions, including the Langesø Christmas tree fair. All researchers and extension personnel dealing with any aspect of Christmas tree production and management are welcome and encouraged to attend.

The abstract submission deadline is 19 January 2024.

Exciting news! The SRWC 2024 conference will have multiple opportunities for students, including a new student poster competition and a student career panel, led by professionals from academia, government, and industry. The Terra Viva Grants Directory (TVG) https://www.terravivagrants.org/ is
now open for subscriptions for 2024! Now part of the International Society
of Tropical Foresters (ISTF; https://tropicalforesters.org), TVG is the
go-to grants database for agriculture, energy, environment, and natural
resources for the world's developing countries.
TVG saves you time by searching for grants for you. This is very helpful
for low-income countries where internet connections are slow and expensive,
and libraries are often not available.

Funding alerts via email and the searchable database are available with
modest paid subscriptions. Subscribe at
