Hello everyone, There is a M.S. Assistantship in Silviculture and Applied Forest Ecology available for qualified students at the University of Vermont in Burlington, VT. The project will investigate stand and landscape level factors that contribute to the susceptibility of northeastern pitch pine forests to southern pine beetle. The project is a great opportunity for a student interested in forestry, forest ecology, or forest entomology.
