Dear colleagues from IUFRO Division 2,
Last week I met Todora Rogelja who is part of the coordination team of
the IUFRO Task Force on 'Fostering Gender Equity, Diversity, and
Inclusion (GEDI) in Forest-related Sectors' (see details here

The Task Force is still missing a wide representation of IUFRO
Divisions, including from Division 2. This is a great initiative and I
encourage you to join, representing our Division. If you are interested

Many thanks for positive responses.
Thanks to Jinlong, I realised that some people may face the Google
firewall, and thus not be able to complete our Membership form in Google
Forms.
If you have such a situation in your Division, I am also sharing a
membership form as a Word document, so hopefully, this will remove the
obstacle.

It was a true pleasure to meet you at the IUFRO Enlarged Meeting in
Vienna.
I hope you had a safe trip back and managed to rest after an
intensive week.
I would like to take this opportunity, given the recent meeting, to
ask for your support for our IUFRO ForGEDI Task Force.
We would like to increase the diversity of our members, and
unfortunately, the representation of some divisions in our ForGEDI
IUFRO TF is still small.
We would be grateful if you spread the word about our Task Force in
your divisions, and invite your members who might be interested in
GEDI mattress to become our members. Our TF will engage in research,
capacity building and education, as well as networking activities.
