[IUFRO Div 2] Save the Date - Bottleneck breakthrough for tree somatic embryogenesis and other vegetative propagation in the era of omics and nanotechnology

A few types of explants and special development stage of organs and callus can generate somatic embryos. Based on whole genome sequencing results combined with metabolomics, transcriptomics, and proteomics, and the application of new technologies like nanotechnology as well, these bottlenecks may be broken, great progress may be obtained in this era.
