Are you interested in conducting PhD research in the context of anthropogenic effects that
already have and will continue to affect forest insects, like climate warming, increased
trade and changes in land use? Would you like to be involved in research investigating
strategies to mitigate the impacts of these anthropogenic effects?
At the department of ecology at SLU, Uppsala Sweden, two projects are available:
1) Establishment and spread of invasive forest insects
2) Ecological consequences of novel plant protection strategies
We could be looking to hire more than two PhD students, please do not hesitate to apply if
you interested in the general research area but maybe not directly in the two available
projects. Please read the
