Hello everyone,
We have a project starting next spring/summer that will investigate the effects of ALB
eradication efforts on current and future composition and structure of hardwood forests in
central New England. The M.S. position is available at University of Vermont in Tony
D'Amato's lab (
http://www.uvm.edu/rsenr/tonydamato/ ). Our lab and Harvard Forest
will be collaborating on the project and we will work closely with the ALB Eradication
Program in Worcester, MA. This is a great opportunity for a student interested in applied
forest ecology, forest health, and/or invasive species.
If you know of someone looking for graduate school opportunities, please pass along this
announcement. For more information, contact Tony D'Amato (
awdamato@uvm.edu<mailto:awdamato@uvm.edu>, 802-656-8030).
Thank you,
Kevin
