Dear friends and colleagues,
We are pleased to share the following early announcement of an upcoming IUFRO Division 7
(Forest Health) conference in Istanbul in 2016 with you. Please note the date and the
opportunity to submit session proposals.
IUFRO All-Division 7 Conference
Global change and forest health - climate change, biological invasions, air pollution,
forest pathology, forest entomology, and their interactions
23-27 May 2016
Istanbul University Congress Center, Istanbul, TURKEY
We envisage that the conference will cover all research topics that are represented within
IUFRO’s Division 7 (Forest Health) and its Research Groups
• Impacts of air pollution and climate change on forest ecosystems
• Forest Pathology
• Forest Entomology
In early 2015 we will invite session proposals from Working Party coordinators and
deputies or anyone involved with topics represented in Division 7 (see the list of working
parties below).
If you have any questions or comments about the conference plans or regarding the
submission of a session proposal, please contact Yusuf Serengil (yserengil(a)yahoo.com)
(chair of organising committee) and Eckehard Brockerhoff
(eckehard.brockerhoff(a)scionresearch.com) (coordinator, IUFRO Division 7 – Forest Health)
