Dear all, This is a reminder: the next IUFRO symposium on Pine Wilt Disease will take place in Orleans (France) on March 9-13th, 2020. If not already done, do not forget to register and submit an abstract. Deadline for abstract submission is Oct 1st (in about 10 days only). _Abstract submission: _https://symposium.inra.fr/pwd2020/Submission Deadline: *October 1st 2019* Note that you can submit an abstract for an oral communication or a poster in the following sessions: - Situation of the pine wood nematode invasion in infested regions or countries - Pine wood nematode (biology, ecology, genetics, modelling…) - Insect vectors (biology, ecology, genetics, modelling…) - Host trees and development of the pine wilt disease (resistance, wilt mechanism,…) - Interactions nematode/vector/host/other organisms - Management of the pine wood nematode (effectiveness of control methods, recommendations…) _Registration: _https://symposium.inra.fr/pwd2020/Registration Deadline for early registration: *November 15th 2019*.
