This truly international Forest Engineering conference only occurs once every 3 or 4 years; so dust off your travel bags, pack you swim gear and get ready to be part of it. For details please see the programme attached: · Monday is an optional workshop where in small groups you will spend the day with a leading NZ company in a theme of your choice. · Tuesday we have a great line-up of plenary session speakers, followed by concurrent technical sessions and the delicious conference dinner. · Wednesday is the all-day field trip, including the largest log loading port in NZ as well as modern logging operations. Lunch is at the beach! · Thursday is technical sessions, and an early finish to allow you to start you ‘non-technical’ activities… While this FEC programme alone makes the trip to New Zealand worthwhile, Rotorua is a geothermal area with extensive tourist and outdoor sporting opportunities. Plan to stay a few days extra, bring your family.
