Dear colleagues and friends, A research assistant position is available immediately at the National Forestry Research Programme of the "Instituto Nacional de Investigación Agropecuaria" (INIA) in Tacuarembó, Uruguay. The successful applicant will participate in the project "*Biología y epidemiología de las plagas y enfermedades prioritarias para el sector forestal*". Job scope includes participating in field and laboratory work, supervising rearing and other activities at the laboratory and collaborating in the discussion and redaction of future research projects in forest protection. Fluency in Spanish is an essential requirement. Prior experiences on insect rearing and field data processing are advantageous. Salary and benefits will be commensurable to qualifications and working experience.
