[IUFRO RG 7.03 FORENT] IUFRO World Congress: "Effect of climate change on the characteristics of insect damage"

Dear Colleagues, Within the frame of the next IUFRO World Congress (Salt Lake City, October 5-11, 2014, http://iufro2014.com) we are organizing a Technical Session entitled ?Is climatic change modifying the characteristics of insect damage in forests?? (Session N°38). This session belongs to the congress theme ?Forest Health in a Changing World?. We invite you to submit an abstract for a presentation to this technical session. The debate is placed at the level of forestry in general. Our session is thus structured in sections corresponding to the different forest biomes (temperate, Mediterranean, boreal, planted including tropical ones) and, in each section, all types of situations can be considered: local modification of damage by already known indigenous pests, emerging indigenous pests, extending pests and introduced pests. The deadline is October 15, 2013.
