All, please consider completing the survey as the results will inform future discussions
on how to improve diversity within IUFRO.

Hello everyone,
Thanks to everyone who participated in the session on Gender Issues in Forest Entomology
and Pathology at the Division 7 meeting in Lisbon! Based on the discussion at the end of
the session, I would like to invite you all to take a brief (< 5 min) survey about
activities that IUFRO could create or participate in that would serve to promote gender
equity and inclusion within the organization. All survey responses are anonymous.

At the bottom of the survey is a link to enter your information into a publicly-available
directory which can be used to connect researchers, students, and others interested in
continuing the conversation of diversity, equity, and inclusion in forestry research. The
directory will be available here (I’m currently the only person listed 😊):

If you have any questions about the survey or directory, please do not hesitate to contact
me at jhartsh@clemson.edu<mailto:jhartsh@clemson.edu>.
Thank you!
Jess
