After a lengthy two-year delay, the 7th IUFRO International Workshop on 'Genetics of Tree-Parasite Interactions in Forestry - GTPI2022' will take place in Pontevedra (Galicia, Spain) from September 12-16th 2022. Please, feel free to disseminate this email and the accompanying flyer and announcement among your colleagues. The call for abstracts is now open until May 15th. If you are interested in organizing or leading a specific session on a particular topic of your interest, please contact us. Although this will be an in-person meeting, we will offer online access (via live stream) to the conference for those unable to travel. We will be offering several different ways for IUFRO members to receive financial support to attend this meeting. These funds are intended for those who have limited access to financial support from their home institutions. These funds are available only for those who have submitted an abstract for an oral or poster presentation. The IUFRO all Division 7 (Forest Health, Pathology and Entomology) 2022 conference has been scheduled in Lisbon, Portugal, from 6 to 9 September 2022, precisely for being able to attend both meetings. Pontevedra is a five-hour drive from Lisbon. We are planning to charter a bus from Lisbon to Pontevedra for those interested in attending both meetings.
