Collins, Colorado*, U.S.A. bringing together scientists working with Genetics and Conservation of White Pine Species (5 needle pines) as well as those working with Rusts of Forest Trees. There has been an excellent response to the survey accompanying the first announcement and we look forward to meeting all of you in Colorado in June 2014 and seeing the latest in science developments in these areas. There has been tremendous activity in areas such as to gene conservation, rust resistance and genomics since these groups last met, and this forum will provide an excellent chance to exchange information and form further collaborations. The planned fieldtrips in the Rocky Mountains will be an opportune time to see forest tree species and pathogens firsthand and a chance to continue discussions with colleagues in spectacular mountain-top landscapes. Additional information will be forthcoming in the next announcement and on website updates, but key information for now: *Abstracts* submission for oral or poster presentations will be open from 1 Dec 2013 to 15 Feb 2014. Format will be provided on the website and in the attached document. *Hotel Reservations*: The Hilton in Ft.
