Dear All,
Thank you to everyone who has submitted a session proposal for the upcoming conference in
Edmonton. We have received many interesting and high-quality proposals, providing a strong
foundation for an excellent conference program.
While the original session proposal deadline was October 16, we have decided to extend the
submission period to encourage additional session proposals related to the conference
theme of "Global Partnerships and Sustainability". In particular, we welcome
sessions that explore the human dimensions of forest health, Indigenous perspectives on
forest health, forest health research in Africa and South America, and additional session
proposals showing collaboration between silviculture and forest health. We also encourage
proposals that strengthen representation of forest entomology and pathology. In all
sessions during the conference, we wish to include participation and leadership
opportunities for early-career professionals and students.
The session proposal deadline has been extended to November 13. We look forward to
receiving additional submissions.
Sincerely, the local arrangements team: Tod Ramsfield, Maartje Klapwijk, Jennifer
Klutsch, Nadir Erbilgin and Charles Nock.
