Dear colleagues, More than one year after the meeting “Global change and forest diseases: new threats, new strategies” (IUFRO WG 7.02.02) held in the Monastery of Montesclaros, Cantabria (Spain), everything was done. The last step, the articles selected for the Forest Systems journal ( http://revistas.inia.es/index.php/fs/index ), have been already published ( http://revistas.inia.es/index.php/fs/issue/current ) as "free access". In the web page of the meeting ( www.iufro2011.com ) you will find (1) the Forest Systems articles as well as the (2) Research Articles and Extended Abstracts already published in the Journal of Agricultural Extension and Rural Development (JAERD)( http://www.academicjournals.org/JAERD/contents/2012% 20cont/14MayConf.htm ), (3) the PDF of the Abstracts Book, and of course (4) the Montesclaros Declaration. Currently, the hard copy of the Proceedings is "in press", and will be sent to the mail address of the participants during the next month. That's all. No more mails about the Montesclaros IUFRO Meeting! Only to say "thanks a lot" to all participants, reviewers, members of the scientific and organising committee...
