IUFRO Division three has been sharing and disseminating the best available knowledge to develop, implement and continuously improve forest operations that are bio-physically effective, economically viable, ergonomically acceptable and environmentally sound. The symposium aims to bring scholars, professionals, and students together to share the best available knowledge, tools and practices on forest operations in the tropics. The symposium will address four key issues with invited talks, scientific presentations, and working group discussions. The symposium will be organized by Tropical Forest Ecosystem Sciences Research Center, Faculty of Agriculture and Food Sciences Universiti Putra Malaysia Bintulu Sarawak(TROFES-UPMBS) in cooperation with International Union Forest Research Organization (IUFRO).
