Dear Division 3,
Most of us do not have the possibility to attend PhD dissertations in other countries, but
here is a possibility.
So take the chance to listen in on presentations and academic discussions on an
interesting topic!
You are all invited to virtually attend the PhD dissertation of Malin Johansson.
The title of the thesis is Balancing the flow of wood and use of machinery in harvesting
operations: new perspectives on how to improve performance in the wood supply
chain<https://res.slu.se/id/publ/121520>.
The dissertation is held on April 28th at 1:00 PM Central European Summer Time (GMT+2).
For those not familiar with Swedish PhD dissertations, the first hour will be
presentations of the thesis, first by the respondent and then by the opponent. Then there
will be a short break, and after that follows about 1-2 hours of discussion between the
respondent and first the opponent and then the evaluation committee.
When attending the webinar, you can only see and listen - and can naturally join and leave
as you please, without disturbing the dissertation.
Very welcome, and please pass this invitation on to those you think have interest in it!
