[IUFRO RG 7.02 FORPATH] IUFRO Division 7 Pathology and Entomology 2020 Newsletter

Dear friends and colleagues, I hope this finds you well despite the challenging times and lack of face-to-face meetings. Fortunately, with vaccinations gathering pace, there seems to be light at the end of the tunnel. Attached is the annual newsletter and report for 2020 of IUFRO Division 7 (Forest Health) which includes the Pathology and Entomology research groups and working parties. There are news about conference plans, changes of coordinators and deputies, gender balance and geographic balance, etc. We now have more concrete information on the long planned All-Division 7 conference which will take place from 6 to 9 September 2022 in Lisbon, Portugal. This will run back to back with the next ‘International Workshop on the Genetics of Tree-Parasite Interactions in Forestry’ (12-17 September 2022) in Pontevedra, Spain, with a shared pre-/post-conference tour over the weekend between the two meetings.
