Juli 2016 17:35 Betreff: Next IUFRO LE conference in Turkey cancelled - new venue needed Dear colleagues of our IUFRO network, I do have the difficult task to let you know that regrettably we cannot continue with the organization of our Conference for 2017 in beautiful Antalya as originally planned and announced in our last conference in Estonia. As you know, we are leaving very difficult times, not just in Turkey but also in France, Germany....so it is important to be able to continue with our efforts while finding the strength needed to continue working together. At present, it is imperative that we find a suitable location for our next IUFRO-LE conference. So please find attached an application to propose a suitable venue for 2018. I hope somebody there in our network feel motivated to pursue the efforts that the scientific committee already started in preparation for the conference. So please if you do have support from your Institution do not hesitate to contact me so we can discuss before you complete details on the attached form. Looking forward to hear from you with a great proposal. Hoping that in the future will regain security and stability in our world, let's continue more than ever our efforts supporting each other and working together.
