[IUFRO Div 8] CALL FOR ABSTRACTS - IUFRO Second International Conference on Biodiversity in Forest Ecosystems and Landscapes

IUFRO Second International Conference on Biodiversity in Forest Ecosystems and Landscapes University College Cork, Ireland 28-31st August 2012 Call for abstracts now open (closes 31st March 2012) This conference will provide an international forum for researchers, practitioners and students to discuss the challenges of maintaining and enhancing biodiversity in forests, and consider emerging trends in the sustainable management of forest ecosystems and landscapes. This conference will build on the success of the first IUFRO International Conference on Biodiversity in Forest Ecosystems and Landscapes which was held in Kamloops, British Columbia, Canada in 2008. Ten symposia covering different aspects of forest biodiversity research will be hosted at this conference as well as several open sessions for relevant contributions that do not fall into any of the planned symposia.
