Dear Colleagues of IUFRO Div. 3,
Please allow me to introduce myself.
My name is Yozo Yamada, and I work in Nagoya University in Japan.
I serve the Coordinator of Research Group 3.03 (Ergonomics) of
IUFRO Division 3 from 2010 to 2014 (http://www.iufro.org/science
/divisions/division-3/30000/30300/).
Unfortunately the RG3.03 had no meetings and activities in the
previous term from 2006 to 2010. In this term, we have recast
the board members of RG3.03 as follows, and try to organize and
promote more aggresive activities of RG3.03. Especially three
Deputy Coordinators have a special role as a regional
coordinator who encourages our activities in each region. At
first, we have an international research conference from 26 to
29 June in Krakow, Poland (http://www.les.ar.krakow.pl/~for-tech
-erg/en-index.html).
Board Members of IUFRO RG3.03 (Ergonomics)
Coordinator:
Yozo Yamada (Japan)
Deputy Coordinator:
Dianne Staal Wasterlund (Sweden)
Efi Yuliati Yovi (Indonesia)
Janusz Sowa (Poland): Regional Coordinator of Europe and
Africa
John J Garland (USA): Regional Coordinator of North and
South America
Richard Parker (New Zealand): Regional Coordinator of Asia
and Oceania
Before launching our activities, we must renew the member list
of RG3.03. If you are an Ergonomic researcher, or concern any
Ergonomic matters, or take an interest in Ergonomics, please
fill the following form and reply to this e-mail (yozo@agr.

Subject: Climate change survey for forest managers / Une enquête sur le
Importance: High
FAO, in collaboration with forest management, climate change experts and
relevant stakeholders, is developing guidelines to assist forest managers to
effectively respond to climate change challenges and opportunities. These
guidelines will include actions related to both climate change adaptation
and mitigation and will be relevant to all types of forests, all management
objectives and all types of managers. More information on this effort may be
found here FAO Forests and
<http://www.fao.org/forestry/climatechange/65120/en/> Climate Change
Programme or requested at Climate-Change-Forest-Managers(a)fao.org.
To facilitate the development of the guidelines, we are conducting a survey
for forest managers (The survey in English
<https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/9L22T2Q> ). We are inviting you to provide
your views and perceptions on factors that limit the ability of forest
managers to prepare for and respond to climate change.
Kindly forward the survey to your members and your mailing list(s). The
content of individual responses will not be published and will remain
anonymous.
Kindly allocate 15 minutes to complete this survey.
Thank you in advance for your time and effort in responding to the survey.
Best regards,
The Forests and Climate Change Team

Climate-Change-Forest-Managers(a)fao.org.

Climate-Change-Forest-Managers(a)fao.org.
Saludos cordiales,
Bosques y cambio climático
