The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) is
currently undertaking the Third Asia-Pacific Forestry Sector Outlook Study
(APFSOS III) which aims to assess how the future is likely to unfold and to
identify emerging challenges and opportunities in the forestry sector.
With this youth perception survey, we aim to gather the perspectives of
young people *(18-35 years old)* on the future of forests and forestry. You
may access the survey form through this link:
by scanning the QR code below. We would appreciate if you could please help
circulate this survey to your students, colleagues, etc.
The survey may take *5-8 minutes* of your time. It will be open until *25

I hope you had some nice holidays. It does not come as a surprise that you start into the new year with the usual high level of energy ;-)
Thank you for your update and request regarding the centennial conference. I am pleased to learn that John Parrotta has agreed to be a keynote speaker (I have advised him accordingly). Given this high-level involvement by IUFRO and the participation of other IUFRO officeholders in the Conference, the criteria for the use of the IUFRO logo are met. Thank you for this opportunity to make IUFRO visible and associated with the centennial conference.
