A few more openings for Carbon Credit abstracts at the IUFRO 3.08 Small Scale Forestry Symposium

There are still a few spaces open for abstracts related to Carbon
issues in small scale forestry at the upcoming 2009 IUFRO Small-Scale
Forestry Symposium in Morgantown, West Virginia from June 7-11, 2009
(http://ssf09.com/).
We currently have abstracts from 21 countries and hope to get a few
more in the topic area of carbon-related issues. This is an excellent
opportunity for presenting manuscripts to the editors of Small Scale
Forestry Journal for its upcoming special Small-Scale Forestry issue
“Forestry and Environment Markets”.
The symposium theme is “Seeing the Forest Beyond the Trees: New
possibilities and expectations for products and services from
small-scale forestry.” The symposium will bring together scientists
and practitioners to share their experiences in management, policy
development and economics of contemporary small-scale forest products
and services.
Abstracts can be submitted online under “Call for Abstracts” on the
symposium website (http://ssf09.com/). Abstracts can be submitted online
or sent directly to Dr Kate Piatek (Kathryn.Piatek(a)mail.wvu.edu).
