As many of you are educators yourself perhaps you have a method or best practice that could be showed off to the world and help raise the profile of the importance of Forest Education in the Latin American context, or perhaps you have a colleague who should be rewarded for their great teaching initiatives. This year the International forest community has decided to celebrate Forest Education as a theme on the auspices of the International Day of Forests Celebration (every year on March 21st). To do so a few different international organizations, mainly IUFRO, IFSA, University of Helsinki and FAO, have come together to launch 2 competitions for educators with three very intriguing prizes.
