Dear colleagues, as you may have already known, the Congress Scientific Committee for the upcoming XXV IUFRO World Congress (to be held in Curitiba, Brazil, 29 September – 5 October 2019) has accepted our proposal for a session titled “Innovative forest laws and environmental legislation for enhanced forest ecosystem services in local communities” (session number A9g), for inclusion in the Congress program. I would like to remind you that the call for abstracts is now open at http://iufro2019.com/abstracts-submission/ and the deadline for abstract submission is 31 December. Now, I would like to encourage you, as the prospective speakers for our session, to submit your abstracts taking the following steps: 1. Please note that you need to register for the Congress already now, but payment for your registration may be made until 31 May 2019; 3.
