Bidding for IUFRO All-Division 5 Conference in 2017

Colleagues,
The IUFRO All-Division 5 Conference is held every 5 years. It is an apolitical, international forum open to all nations, for conduct of the Division’s business, and for exchange of scientific, professional and technical information on forest products related subjects consistent with the Division's structure.
Division 5 is currently soliciting bids for the 2017 All-Division 5 conference. If you and your institution are willing to host this conference, please visit the Guidelines and Bidding Rules at http://www.iufro.org/download/file/9492/2068/all-d5-2017-guidelines-bidding… for further details.
Please note that the deadline for the submission of bids is 28 February 2014!

Hi Brigitte,
D5 is concerned that there may still be other IUFRO member organisations who have overlooked that there is a call for bids to host the 2017 D5 conference. The closing date is 28 February 2014. We are encouraging as many bids as possible. Re-attach is the same updated guidelines for submitting a bid. Could we ask IUFRO HQ to please remind the IUFRO global membership about this soonest possible?

The 9th IUFRO International Conference on Uneven-aged Silviculture - Registration is OPEN!

Happy New Year 2014!
I am looking forward to meeting you at our meeting in June later this year; the title of the meeting is:
'Future Concepts in Uneven-aged Silviculture for a Changing World'

The conference will take place in Birmensdorf (Zürich), Switzerland on 17-19 June 2014. There will also be a post-conference tour 20-24 June that will visit forests in Switzerland and France, more information can be found on the website.
This e-mail is the second call for abstracts (papers and posters) to be submitted for consideration by the Scientific Committee by 31 January 2014. To submit your abstract please first register using the links on the above website.
