The Day celebrates and raises awareness of the importance of all types of
forests. The theme for each International Day of Forests is chosen by the
Collaborative Partnership on Forests (CPF), of which IUFRO is a member. The

New Report on the Future of Wood Supply in Europe Highlights Importance of
Innovation
On the occasion of the International Day of Forests themed "Forests and
Innovation", IUFRO proudly presents a new evidence-based synthesis report
titled "Europe's wood supply in disruptive times". The report was published
on 14 March as IUFRO World Series Vol. 42 by TEAMING UP 4 FORESTS, a

AI has been a hot topic since the launching of ChatGPT last winter.
Especially among teachers, students in schools and at universities an
