Dear Colleagues,
We welcome the submission of manuscripts for publication in a Special Issue on "Disturbance Management in Forest Ecosystems" of the journal I <https://www.mdpi.com/journal/ijerph> nternational Journal of Environmental Research and Public Health.
Manuscripts may address challenges regarding
(a) the characterization of disturbance regimes, namely, under scenarios of climate change;
(b) the ecology and management of disturbance agents;
(c) the assessment of the impacts of disturbances on the provision of ecosystem services;
(d) the integration of concerns with disturbance agents in management planning; and
(e) the development of regulatory frameworks and policy analysis to address concerns about the impact of disturbance agents on forested landscapes.
This special issue is sponsored by the International Union of Forest Research Organizations (IUFRO Unit 4.04.04—Sustainable Forest Management Scheduling).
