Dear Colleagues from the IUFRO 2.09.02 and Division 2 lists,
This is our last reminder of the deadline for early bird registration to participate in our upcoming IUFRO 2.09.02 Conference “Clonal Trees in the Bioeconomy Age” to be held in Coimbra (Portugal) during September 10-15, 2018: July 7th (in just 2 days).
Both abstract submission and application to IUFRO travel grants are now CLOSED.
The WINNER of the student’s scientific awarding competition is now announced: Bruno Viana NAVARRO from the University of São Paulo, Brazil. See the full results of the competition at our website. Congratulation to Bruno and thank you to all 9 participants from 8 different countries!

We received a total of more than 130 abstracts, so our conference is already sized to be successful! We are now working to offer you a wonderful scientific program!
Result of the student’s scientific awarding competition:
Nine candidates from 8 countries were in competition this year.
The Evaluation Committee is pleased to award first place to:

Congratulations to Bruno who will be invited with full support to make an oral presentation of his research about:
“Carbohydrate metabolism modulation in the zygotic and somatic embryogenesis of the subtropical conifer species Araucaria angustifolia”
Applications for IUFRO travel grants are now closed.
Applications from 6 candidates from economically disadvantaged countries are now being processed by the Organizing Committee and IUFRO SAP Headquarters.
