The IUFRO Special Programme for Development of Capacities is offering a limited number of sponsorships for Scientific Visits (SV) to forest research institutions overseas during 2025–2026. 

This unique opportunity is designed to: 

• Build lasting research collaborations
• Strengthen scientific skills and capacity
• Support the development of research
• Open doors to publishing opportunities
   

Who Can Apply? Early-career scientists (age 35 or younger) who: 

• Have completed an MSc or PhD in forestry or related fields
• Are affiliated with an IUFRO member organization
• Work and reside in an economically disadvantaged country
