Dear colleagues,
We are looking for a PhD candidate within the H2020
Innovative Training Network “PyroLife – Training the
next generation of integrated fire management experts”.
The student will be based at UTAD, with two 4-month
secondments at the University of Alberta (Canada) and Tecnosylva
(Spain).
The objectives are to identify and analyze the
environmental drivers of megafires; describe and model megafire
behaviour; and assess the prediction potential of future
megafires in Europe.
