Dear members,
The following editorial has just been published in Landscape Ecology:
"Building
green infrastructure to enhance urban resilience to climate
change and pandemics"
This editorial is based on the webinar on "Urban Green
Infrastructure: How can urban green infrastructure contribute to
pandemic and climate resilience?" of the "IUFRO Landscape Ecology
WP Webinar Series - Emerging issues in landscape ecology" that
took place last November.
We thank again Daniele La Rosa, Simona R. Gradinaru, Francesca
Ugolini and Jianguo (Jingle) Wu, for their participation and their
wonderful contributions.
The video of the webinar is still available at: https://youtu.be/DACfMSfZVHQ
The next webinar of the series will take place in April 2021, in collaboration with the IUFRO Radioactive Contamination of Forest Ecosystems WP (8.04.07) under the topic "Forests in Fukushima and Chernobyl - people, wildlife and landscape”. This co-organization will happen 10 years after the Fukushima disaster. Stay tuned for updates!
Best regards,
João Azevedo
