Program Parallel sessions
The session program has over 50 sessions focusing on ecosystem services from the perspective of different biomes, economic sectors and themes, ensuring a diverse and complete program. Have a look at the session descriptions here. We received 680+ abstracts which are currently under review. Abstract submitters will be informed about abstract acceptance by the end of July. Keynote speakers
During the plenary sessions throughout the week seven keynote speakers will reflect on ecosystem services from their respective angles, such as science, policy or practice. Additionally, two panel discussions will take place. ES in Business day
To stimulate the application of the ecosystem services concept in business activity, the ESP is organising a business-focused day on Thursday that will run in parallel to the rest of the ESP10 program. The business day will include several parallel sessions related to business-science collaboration, a market place and an ES in practice award. Read more about it here. Market place
During the Business day attendees and external parties will have the opportunity to exhibit their project, business, product or organisation at the Ecosystem Services market place. The market place stands will be present during the entire day on Thursday 24 October. From 15:00-16:30 a longer break is scheduled to provide delegates the opportunity to engage with the market place exhibitors. Sign up for the market place using the online registration form.
