Are you an early career forest scientist with a passion for global collaboration? Or do you know a person who is?

The IUFRO Special Programme for Development of Capacities is offering a limited number of sponsorships for Scientific Visits (SV) to forest research institutions overseas during 2025–2026.

This unique opportunity is designed to:

Build lasting research collaborations
Strengthen scientific skills and capacity
Support the development of research
Open doors to publishing opportunities

Who Can Apply? Early-career scientists (age 35 or younger) who:

Have completed an MSc or PhD in forestry or related fields
Are affiliated with an IUFRO member organization
Work and reside in an economically disadvantaged country
