Dear colleagues,

Our meeting date draws closer. Our online meeting will take place next week on the
8th of December, 21-23 GMT (22-24 Paris CET). So please don't forget that this means early afternoon on the 8th December for Americans (13-15 San Francisco, 15-17 Chicago, 17-19 Buenos Aires), late  in the day/night for people in Europe (22-24 Paris CET) and early the next day (9th of December) for scientist from the Asia region (Shanghai 5-7 ;Tokyo 6-8). Please recheck your local times against GMT.

We will use Zoom for the meeting, please register in advance for the meeting :

https://us06web.zoom.us/meeting/register/tZwsceGoqzgqHdOlg60Dj4smebp50nxNePJ9

After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.

Please join the meeting early enough, so that we can start on time.

As you will remember, the meeting principle is to watch the talks before the meeting, so that we can use the meeting time, after a short introduction, mainly for discussions.

You will be able to watch the talks before the meeting on either Youtube or Youku. You will find the youtube links already below, the Youku links will follow in a later email.

All the videos are in the youtube playlist of the December 2021 meeting :

It will facilitate the discussions during the meeting if you submit your questions before the meeting. You have different possibilities to do this : a) you can use the Slack that we used already last time (there is a new channel for each talk), b) you can use the comment section of Youtube or Youku for each talk, which requires to log into Youtube or Youku. c) you can also send your questions to oliver.brendel@inrae.fr , clearly indicating the talk title for each question. As the Slack will also allow us to add questions during the meeting and to continue discussions after the meeting, we will also copy all the questions from youtube/youku/email into the relevant Slack channel. If you had already used the IUFRO2.08.05 Slack working space the last time, you just need to go to slack.com , login and chose the IUFRO.2.08.05 working space. Otherwise you can use the link below to join the IUFRO Slack working space :
