EXTENDED! CALL FOR ABSTRACTS
Until April 15, 2016

We have extended the deadline for abstract submission for
the IUFRO Extension & Knowledge Exchange Working Party conference, to be held at Kenora, Ontario, Canada, from September 25th to the 29th, 2016. 


IMPORTANT!! We are pleased to announce that a limited number of travel scholarships are available that may cover all or part of the registration and lodging costs associated with the conference. These are available to participants from developing countries.  Please indicate in your email when you submit your abstract if you are interested in being considered for a travel scholarship.

The theme of the 2016 conference is, "Increasing capacity for program delivery through knowledge exchange networks and peer-to-peer learning".  This is your opportunity to provide examples of successful collaborative programs and partnerships, the process for development, what worked and what didn't, and lessons learned.
 
In addition to oral and poster presentations, we are also providing the opportunity to submit a manuscript for publishing consideration in a special issue of The Forestry Chronicle.  Submission deadline for papers is June 21, 2016.  If you plan on submitting a paper, you must still submit an abstract by the April 15th deadline You are not required to submit a manuscript to be considered for an oral or poster presentation.

Abstracts should be no more than 200 words, and should include the title, all authors and affiliations, and indicate whether it is  to be considered for either an oral or poster presentation, or both. Indicate also if you intend to submit an unpublished manuscript to the Forestry Chronicle, but DO NOT send the manuscript at this time.
