BellFest
2010 will take place at the University
of Vermont in Burlington June 12-15. This will be a
celebration of the 50-year career of Ross and Joyce Bell (Department of
Biology, University
of Vermont) in biological
education and insect systematics. Colleagues and other friends will gather in Burlington to participate
in a reception, symposium, banquet, and – for those who choose - a day in the
field for insect collecting. The symposium will feature two days of scientific
presentations (talks and posters). Within a year of the meeting, plans
include the publication of a Festschrift, based primarily on presentations.
The
announcement for BellFest can be found at the link below. People who are
interested in attending are invited to download the registration/accommodation
form, fill it out for both registration and room reservations and send it
directly to Jessica Rykken (address
and more details at the link below) in advance of the required 28 May deadline.
