I hope this email finds you all well. I’m writing with an exciting update. We recently received two new (and long-awaited!) impact metrics for Frontiers in Forests and Global Change.
The Scopus CiteScores were announced, a metric based on a three year citation window with more information about its calculation here. The journal has been awarded a CiteScore of 3.6.
The journal Impact Factors were also recently announced. I am truly delighted to inform you that Frontiers in Forests and Global Change has received an Impact Factor of 4.332. This is an incredible achievement and very high for a first Impact Factor. In our SCIE category (Forestry) we rank in the first quartile, specifically 7 out of 69.
Congratulations on this tremendous success! I want to thank each and every one of you for your hard work and contribution to Frontiers in Forests and Global Change, as well as remembering all the journal staff who have supported this journal in its progress. This news will be communicated more formally to external audiences and our community by our marketing and communications team this week.
