Registration is now open for ForestSAT 2026, a hybrid conference bringing together an international community of scientists, professionals, and students to explore advances in forest remote sensing, spatial analysis, artificial intelligence, and related technologies.
Our keynote speakers include:
* Dr. Paul Siqueira – Professor at the University of Massachusetts and co-Director of the Microwave Remote Sensing Laboratory (MIRSL). He is the Ecosystems Lead for the NISAR mission that launched from the Satish Dhawan Space Center in Sriharikota, India on July 30, 2025
* Dr. Joanne C. White – Research Scientist at the Canadian Forest Service, expert in lidar and satellite-based forest monitoring.
* Dr. Valerie Pasquarella – Senior Research Scientist at Google developing foundational geospatial datasets for Earth Observation.
The conference features a field trip to Austin Cary Forest, a full day of workshops, and talks from participants representing over 49 countries.
