International Conference on Population and Conservation Genetics
28-30 January 2026; Coimbatore, India
Climate change versus vulnerability of forest ecosystems is a rising concern to tree biologists. Rapid decline in genetic resources and diversity is a critical and crucial factor to forest health and resilience. Comprehending population diversity and its inherent dynamics is the keystone to conservation, domestication and effective utilization of tree genetic resources.
The conference will primarily focus on the population dynamics of forest tree genetic resources in the context of countering ecological and climatic challenges.
