Mountain forest session at EGU 2020 (3.-8. May)

Dear colleagues,
Abstract submissions are now open for the session mountain forests under climate change (BG3.23) at the EGU General Assembly, 2020, in Vienna (Austria) from 3 to 8 May 2020.
We hope to gain a broad overview on global mountain forest ecosystems in the context of protection against natural hazards. Potential topics might include the monitoring and modelling of changing disturbance regimes or other expected (climate-induced) environmental changes, as well as human land use and societal requirements that potentially have a direct or indirect impact on the protective effects of mountain forests.
