Dear colleagues interested in
“forest policy and governance” of IUFRO unit 09.05,
as coordinator of 09.05
I would like to invite you to discuss the progress and future of our groups, including the discontinuation of groups/office-holders and new emerging ones (details see
http://www.iufro.org/science/divisions/division-9/ ).
I booked a slot for all colleagues interested in a
09.05 business meeting to be held during the upcoming IUFRO WC in Curitiba, in Room R10 – Wing 2, on Tuesday October 1st, 17.30-18.20.
This meeting will also prepare our input into the Division 9 meeting , to be held in room R15 - Wing 2, on Friday October 4th, 17.30-19.30 .
In order to get an overview of your and your group’s activities between
Oct 2014 to date, I am asking all Coordinators and/or Deputies to report to me before Monday, Sep 30th, end of day (by replying to me, maybe not reply to all). I will then compile all responses from individuals for our meetings and
will distribute it later. Kindly report from your group in the following format in
brief bullet points:
(i)
events/meetings/conferences (including title, venue, date, the involved research group/working parties; organizers and possibly links to publications, reports )
(ii)
publications relevant to the groups’ work (including links to them).
