Assistant Professor of Forest Products/Utilization and Wood Science
The School of Forestry at Northern Arizona University invites applications for the position of Assistant Professor of Forest Products/Utilization and Wood Science. This is a 9-month, tenure-track appointment.
We seek an applicant with expertise in forest products, utilization, or wood science, broadly defined, whose interests will support, build, and complement the School of Forestry’s and NAU’s programs in these and related areas. The successful applicant will
be expected to teach courses in support of our undergraduate and graduate forestry programs, develop a productive, externally-funded research program, advise graduate students (MF, MS, and PhD), and serve the School of Forestry, Northern Arizona University,
and the profession. The anticipated start date for this position is August 18, 2014.
Minimum Qualifications: An earned Ph.D. in forest products and utilization, wood science, or related field conferred by start date. The full position description and a list of the preferred qualifications can
