Please join us (virtually) for
ForestCORE's central event next week, on June 23-25, with the theme
Sustainability, Ecosystem Services and Nature-based Solutions, an event that aims to facilitate a technical and scientific dialogue to understand the synergies and trade-offs between timber production and forest ecosystem services, and to expand the discussion to alternative and emerging markets of nature-based solutions. The conference includes: i) forest biometrics, quantitative ecology, forest inventory, remote sensing, and small-area estimation; ii) quantitative silviculture and genetics; and iii) forest planning, economics, and finance. ForestCORE is a registration-free event open to everyone (all IUFRO Divisions welcome), thanks to the financial and logistical support of the host, Ingeobosque, a Colombia-based scientific NGO that aims to promote sustainable forest management for ecosystem services provision and nature-based solutions. We thank our sponsor, Trafigura, and partners, The National University of Colombia, Medellin,
IUFRO, and its Research Groups 4.03.00 - Landscape analysis and decision support,
