Branching out: the forest podcast

Dear Reader of IUFRO News:

You might remember IUFRO Spotlight, an initiative that introduced forest research findings in plain language from IUFRO network to the wider public. Well, it is now Branching out: the forest podcast. It branches out of Spotlight, and to different disciplines and sectors, new potential members, and audiences.
 
The first season will center on the IUFRO World Congress 2024. There will be 6 episodes in total (4 in 2023 and 2 in 2024 just before the Congress). We will bring diverse voices and cases/stories from around the world to you in this 15-20 min podcast.
 
We invite you to listen to the first episode with Elena Paoletti, Fredrik Ingemarson, John Parrotta and Sarah Burns with general information on what you can expect from the IUFRO World Congress 2024 in Stockholm, Sweden. This episode is hosted by Jose Bolaños, IUFRO Headquarters, and features Jennifer Hayes, US Forest Service, Deputy Coordinator of IUFRO's Communication and Public Relations Working Party.
