Due to the many requests received this past week, the Organizing Committee of World Congress Silvo-Pastoral Systems 2016 has postponed the deadline for abstract submission and the notification of abstracts acceptance. The key dates for the congress are now (and will not be further changed):
_7th February 2016 – Abstract submission; _15th March – Notification of abstract acceptance; _Before 30th April 2016 – Early bird registration; _After 30th April 2016 – Regular registration.
For PhD Students, we have available funds to support the participation in the Congress of a limited number of students. The funds can be applied for travel and registration costs. Interested PhD students must submit their demand until 7th February by mail to silvopastoral2016@uevora.pt, with the following information:
1) abstract according to the Congress rules, 2) short CV (1A4), 3) certificate of being a PhD student, issue by the University where the PhD is developed and 4) recommendation letter by the supervisor. The decision will be communicated until the end of February.
